Analytical This is analytical laboratory equipped with an array of sophisticated analytical instruments as HPLC, Spectorometer, Diffractometer, etc. with technical expertise to aid in the analysis of organic compounds, drug intermediates and pharmaceuticals. It develops new methods of analysis and efficient analytical protocols. Process Development: It undertakes process development ranging from milligram to kilogram scale. The purpose is to develop novel and non ifringing processes for bulk drugs and intermediates before commerciialization by sponsor companies.
LEADING RESEARCH DRIVEN MEDICAL GROUP OPERATING ON A GLOBE SCALE Over the past few years we have put a lot of emphasis on R&D, which allow us a rapid ramp -up of a wide range of products and cost effectiveness. We have a started developing program, (infrastructure and capacity) for cost -effective, safe, environmentally friendly and innovative process know how for the production of high quality standards keeping in mind our customers needs. Our R & D relentlessly continuous with its efforts in developing indigenous formulations, realignment of manufacturing operations and development and evaluation of alternative raw materials for making products cost efficient. The Biotechnology division of Randolph Fin-Biotech covers areas of Wound Management, Orthopaedics, Pharmaceutical Development and New Materials.
Wound management biomaterials focuses on the trends and issues in the markets for skin replacements, adhesives and sealants, and adhesion barrier technologies. The market for wound management biomaterials is expanding rapidly, driven by new product introductions, improved clinical results, cost-benefit analysis and increased public and surgeon awareness and acceptance of products. Unlike traditional medical device markets, which typically focus on specific procedural segments, surgical biomaterials can be used across a broad range of medical specialties. Of all the areas in development, biomaterial applications in wound management represent an enormous growth opportunity, especially when considering the size of the procedural population affected by surgical, chronic and acute wounds. The wound management team agreed that both therapeutic and economic criteria affect the range of products for treatment of wounds - from simple adhesive dressing to the treatments of complex skin lesions which require professional wound management, depending on the healing process involved. Serving the health, healing and care of human beings demands a maximum degree of quality and safety day by day - a responsibility we are pleased to accept. Functional combinations of different material are constructed in several layers and folded, punched or cut. They are manufactured from calcium alginate, hydrocolloid or collagen woven out of natural or chemical fibres, some impregnated with wound disinfections. Special products are also surgical, dermatological and ophthalmologic indications. Orthopaedic Research Programme The main focus in our laboratory is the study of the molecular mechanisms of bone resorption. More specifically, we are focused on the treatment of bone and joint disorders. Effective research in orthopaedics depends on the symbiotic relationship between engineers and surgeons, so that orthopaedic engineers, who research, invent, and design implants and devices, work closely with the spinal surgeons, who ultimately use the designs in surgery to help individual patients, for this purpose we have a unique blend of science and engineering disciplines with us. Currently, in our Randolph Fin-Biotech, we are studying to understand the repair processes involved at a fundamental level, and thereby to understand the correct point of intervention for new therapy. By using this approach, we will be able to offer new products for healthcare professionals for treatment of bones and joint disorder. The primary aim is to establish a clinical and basic science research programme related to outcome of total joint replacement in the lower limb. Pharmaceutical Development We have a strong pharmaceutical development program, which allows us a rapid ramp up of a wide range of conventional dosage forms and line extensions involving innovative, value-added products for global generic markets. Our built - in systems and capacities enable us to develop our products in line with a variety of international regularly needs. We have separate and dedicated facilities to develop products in the area of bulk drugs, and various pharmaceuticals. Randolph Fin-Biotech, is actively engaged in research and development of a wide range of innovative products. Emerging from its relentless efforts in product excellence and innovation are new product ranges to meet the rising needs of the medical consumer market. Pharmaceutical Development and Technology explores the research in the design, development, manufacture, and evaluation of traditional and novel drug delivery systems- emphasizing practical solutions and applications to theoretical and research-based problems
